The Plan Commission performs a variety of functions relating to community planning and land use development. It reviews and makes recommendations on zoning ordinances, development proposals, and master plans for the community's growth and development. The commission ensures that projects align with the community's goals, regulations, and overall vision for future development. The Plan Commission meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00pm. Appointed commissioners need to reside in the Town of Randall. Commissioners on the Plan Commission serve a 3-year term.

Board of Review — 0 openings

The Board of Review is a local government entity responsible for reviewing property assessments to ensure their fairness and accuracy. Property owners have the right to appeal their property tax assessments if they believe they are incorrect or unfair. The board examines these appeals, listens to both assessors and property owners, and may adjust property valuations as necessary. The primary objective is to ensure that assessments accurately reflect the market value of properties and are consistent with local tax regulations. The Board of Review is comprised of seven members who must be residents of the Town. These members are appointed by the Town Chairperson and confirmed by the Town Board for staggered three-year terms. The Board convenes annually at any time during the thirty-day period commencing on the second Monday of May. Subsequent hearing dates are determined based on the number of appeals presented to the Board.

Town Board — 0 openings

The Town Supervisors and Town Chairperson are elected officials whose terms are staggered. Occasionally, vacancies may arise on the Town Board. In such instances, a Randall resident may be appointed to fill the vacancy.

The Town Board, comprising the Town Supervisors and Chair, is responsible for all Town affairs not delegated to other entities. Their primary responsibilities include legislative duties, such as the adoption of ordinances and resolutions, and financial management, including budget preparation, financial statement creation, and claim approval. Additionally, the board oversees public works, including highway maintenance and construction, and public safety, particularly fire protection.

Towns in Wisconsin possess the authority to provide essential services, including fire protection, ambulance services, and law enforcement. They have the option to establish their own departments, contract with external providers, or collaborate with other municipalities. Furthermore, towns are responsible for property assessment, zoning regulations, planning, and personnel management, including hiring employees and legal counsel.
